With heavy hearts we share the peaceful passing of Michael (Mike) Woolley on Thursday, April 2, 2026 after a lengthy illness, at Bethell Hospice, with his family by his side. He faced cancer with courage, determination, and never lost his positive spirit.
Survived by his loving wife and best friend Pamela Woolley (nee Walker) for 62 wonderful years. Beloved father to Glenn (Karen) and Kaye (Derek). Cherished granddad to Fiona.
For 85 years Mike lived life to the fullest. Born on the Isle of Whithorn, Scotland, he was the eldest of 6 children. He then moved to Toronto, Canada with his wife and baby son. There he coached Glenn and Kaye’s sports teams, had a successful career at London Life, and travelled the world with Pamela.
Mike will be cherished forever in our hearts, deeply missed, and forever loved.
Funeral services will take place in the chapel of Andrews Community Funeral Centre - Bramalea Chapel, 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton on Sunday April 19, at 11:00 am.
Family and friends are invited to Mike’s Celebration of Life reception after the service at Bramalea Celtic Supporters Club, 30 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton, at 1:00 pm.
