Patricia Mary Weare

Mum was the heart of our family – a woman of grace, strength, and endless love. She devoted her life to her family, creating a home filled with warmth, kindness, and laughter. She was a devoted wife, caring mum and a proud and loving nana and great nana.

Patricia was born in England and married her childhood sweetheart in 1959. In 1970 they packed up their young family, immigrated to Canada and settled into the G section at 92 which has remained the family home. Patricia started work at the local Food City where she then made many lifelong friends. Although she loved her work, mum always made sure to put her boys first. She was actively involved in all aspects of their lives and was their biggest fan. She was the best Wife, Mum, Nana and great Nana anyone could ask for.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 66 years David, and her 3 boys. Dean (Nancy), Lee (Morag) and David (Jackie). She will also be missed by her 8 grandchildren, Jamie (Mark), Logan (James), Conor (Camille), Kyle (Kass), Karly (Jon) Dylan, Ronan, Mairead, and her Great grandchildren, Liam, Rowan, Emilia, Callum and soon to be a 5th. She will also be missed by her 4 bonus grandchildren Shaun, Keith, Brian and Julia though they didn’t call her “nana”, each held a special place in her heart, and she in theirs.

Her legacy lives on in the values she passed down – kindness, resilience, generosity, and love.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday June 26th from 5 to 7 pm at the Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 10061 Chinguacousy Road (N/E corner at Bovaird).
