It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father and brother Walter "Wally" Kaschuba. Wally was born December 15th, 1949 in Berlin, Germany and left us on May 1st, 2025 in his home surrounded by family at the age of 75. A devoted husband, father and brother to his wife Elizabeth (Betty) for 50 years, his Children Franz, Kathrine (Mark), his Granddaughter Shyanne, step Grandson Dean (Ashley) and his Great Grandson Levi. Wally was one of five children to Walter (Papa) and Kathrin (Oma) Kaschuba. Peter (deceased) Gunther (Cathy), Lena (Kevin) and Angie (Doug) and many nieces and nephews that adored their uncle Wally.
Wally was a very talented artist and Musician. Not only did he join many bands of different genres but he could also pick up almost any instrument and play. his childhood passion was the French horn, and Piano. He quickly found a passion for the guitar. His guitar usually travelled with him everywhere just in case there was an opportunity to break out in a jam session. Wally had many talents which included wood working, carpentry, painting and his ability to fix almost anything! His unique recipes and talent in sausage making which was an art in its self was appreciated by many. He took allot of pride in his skills in the food industry and he was very respected plus we always had endless sausages for those back yard parties, playing guitar and overall having a great laugh with many friends and family.
Wally will be dearly missed by so many people who loved him, if you ask any one to say something about Wally it would be that he was a fun loving man with the personality of a big friendly bear, which eventually became his nickname. I hope we can all remember the fun times with Wally “Bear” and keep his spirit alive through music, rising a glass and many wonderful memories. God Bless your soul and may you rest in peace Walter.
