

He was born on February 27, 1936, in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada to the late Berthe and Arcadius Fournier.
Growing up Albert enjoyed Hockey and played for Le Club de la paroisse St. Philippe a Trois-Rivieres in Canada.
In 1968, Albert and his family relocated to the United States. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 2001, where he worked as a service technician. Albert was a guest greeter for the Tampa Bay Lightning for 30 years and worked in the Operations department for Busch Gardens for 20 years. All who knew him will miss his friendly smile, kindness, and outgoing personality.
He is survived by his daughters, Joseé Campbell and her husband, John, and Diane Schaaf and her husband Kenny; four grandchildren, Gabrielle and John Campbell, and Jacob and Tyler Schaaf; siblings, Marcel Fournier (Mariette Doucet), Berthe Fournier (Yves Massicotte); Brother-in-Law, André Comeau (Normande Parent); dear friends, Sheryl McKay and her husband Pete, children Clint and Cooper McKay. Albert also leaves behind his beloved dog, Lily.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Jeannine Fournier; daughter, Lise Fournier; son, Michael Fournier; siblings, Claude Fournier (Yolande Duchesne), Julien Fournier (Madeleine Beaumier), Eva Fournier, René Fournier (Yvette Toupin), Benoit Fournier (Huguette Beliveau), Clement Fournier (Jacqueline Massicotte).
A Celebration of Life for Albert will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1-5pm at Amalie Arena (Fire Stick Grill Room) 401 Channelside Drive Tampa, Florida 33602. The celebration for Albert is limited to invitation only.
