Dear Aunt Barbara, 
          I dont think you and Uncle Jimmy realized how much it meant to Dillon and I to get to know you and  have the opportunity to stay in your home. Because of you and Uncle Jimmy we built our relationship in your home and was even proposed to in the front yard. We will never forget the half hour notices before you would show up at the front door and we would rush to make sure the house was spotless and then you would complain that the house was too clean :) . Another time we will never forget is when we called to ask if we could get a dog and you two said not too big but we ended up getting a 130 pound Bloodhound that slobbers everywhere, who knew? :) . We just wanted to say we really appreciate you for everything you did for us and we will never forget. We love you so much. 
P.S. Please tell Travis we love him.

Have you ever watched a butterfly dance? How it gently caresses, nourishes and kisses every flower that it touches. It gracefully dances and flutters from flower to flower never asking for anything in return, and I have never seen anyone who doesn't seem to smile a little bit when they see one.
Anyone who knew our mother knows how much she enjoyed butterflies, and last Saturday I think I truly understood why.  As my wife Terri brought my children; Devon, Logan and Mikaila into our Mom and Dad's house Logan saw butterflies and immediately started asking where his Grandma was so he could show them to her.  I rushed outside struggling to try and find the words to explain where she was. As I opened the door I heard the kids laughing in the front yard, and low and behold there was a beautiful Monarch butterfly dancing from flower to flower. Each time it fluttered Mikalia and Logan would giggle and laugh, and all the while Devon was having such a hard time trying to get that butterfly to stop for a second so he could take a picture of it. Luckily for a brief moment that butterfly stopped to kiss another flower and he was able to get the picture.
Like that butterfly our mother gracefully danced and fluttered from flower to flower, person to person gently caressing, nourishing and kissing everyone she touched. She made us laugh and smile as she danced through life and we enjoyed those gentle kisses as she passed from one to another. 
Now like that butterfly our mother's life was way too short and for that we experience this pain and sorrow, but as I experienced through Devon, Logan and Mikaila's eyes last Saturday our butterfly is still out there dancing and bringing joy to those she has touched. Until we get to feel your gentle kisses again, enjoy dancing with God mom and for everyone here the next time you see that butterfly just take a brief moment to experience the butterfly's dance.
