Graduate of Hastings High School 1942 Employed at Consumers' Power Co, Michigan Bell, & Gilmore Brother's. Lived in Portage, Mi, Petoskey, Mi, Melbourne, Fl, & Brandon, Fl

Active member of Portage United Methodist Church. Dorcas Circle, Trustee, Woman of the Year 1976

Seamstress - made curtains, clothes for daughters, Knitter - made more than 50 afghans

Baker - all will remember her red cake, cookies, & lasagne.

After her stroke in 2004, all of the things she liked to do were curtailed. Until the end, she encouraged all with whom she had contact with her determined spirit & sweet smile & gentle way. An amazing woman who was loved by all & will always be remembered.
