Benito Mojica Jr. December 1952 – April 2015, resident of Valrico, Florida. After a courageous 4 year battle with cancer, Benny passed away peacefully at his home in Valrico on April 5, 2015. Benny was a man of many gifts, so many wonderful qualities, and an endless supply of love.
Benny was one of four children born to Benito and Nelida Mojica on December 11, 1952 in the Bronx, NY. He was a beloved husband to Rosana Mojica Lopez. His loving memory will remain with his sons Brandon and Daniel Mojica and his step daughters Claudia, Abby and Daniela. He will forever be remembered by his devoted sisters Ruthie Mojica and Betty Cabrera. He will be loved and missed by his six nieces Erika, Yahaira, Jennifer, Lisa, Melissa, and Crystal; and his 2 nephews Joan and Jonathan. His love will remain in the hearts of his in-laws Herb and Yvonne Sequera, and Mitchell and Elena Sequera; along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know him.
Benny loved cooking, bowling, laughing, softball, boxing, being with his family, and watching his New York Yankees. Benny touched the lives of many people with his smile, and big heart. He maintained a sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and Family are invited to attend services in his honor at Hillsboro Memorial; 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
