Calvin A. (Cal) Miller, age 84, of Dover, died Saturday May 25th, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa. He was a native of Florida and a life long resident of Hillsborough/Sumter counties. He was the son of the late Walter and Sarah Miller. He was proceeded in death by his brothers Albert Al, and Valentine (Val) Miller.
He was a graduate of Brandon Highschool class of 1953, and worked his way up to supervisor for General Telephone Company. Calvin was generous, funny, and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the Coast Guard.
He is survived by his daughter Frances Miller of Lithia and son and daughter in law Richard and Debbie Miller of Brandon, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
A visitation for Calvin will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida 33511 followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM.
