Durden, Carson E., 71, of Tampa passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. He was born on February 16, 1942 in Cerro Gordo, North Carolina to Bailey Nobles and Hazel Durden. Carson enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking. Survivors include his devoted wife of 41 years, Cheryl; sons, Johnny Durden, James Durden, Jerry Durden (Andrea); daughter, Rachel Hubbard (Marcus); 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, June 14 from 6-8 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, June 15 at 10 AM at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
