Charles Elliott Allgood

Charles was a loving and kind person who had a passion for watching Westerns, reading books, and fishing. He was also an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan. He served in the Navy, and his military associations were a significant part of his life.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda Allgood, Louise Jones (sister), his children Mike Allgood (wife Sharon Allgood), Sabrina Smith, and Jim Hendrix (wife Darlene Hendrix), and his grandchildren, Ryan Smith (fiancé Florence), Lauren Smith (significant other Jason Sconyers), and Sydnee Andrews (husband Alex Andrews), and Heather Allgood. His daughter Leighann and his beloved dog, Gator, preceded him in death.

Rest in peace, Charles. Your family and friends will miss you dearly.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A graveside service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
