O’DONNELL, Christine “Chris” Josephine, 65, of Brandon, entered into rest Thursday, May 14, 2015. She was born April 29, 1950 in Newark, N.J., to Chester and Veronica Marciniak. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert; son, Brian, two daughters, Donna O’Donnell, Sandra Ober; granddaughters, Ashley, Madisan; sister, Elaine Hocko; brother, John Marciniak both of Middletown, N.J. She was preceded in death by parents, Veronica and Chester Marciniak of Union, N.J. Chris loved time with her family and pets, arts and crafts, needlepointing, flower arranging and scrap booking as well as a deep fondness for collectibles from around the world. She was a world traveler and loved to go on cruises and spend time at the beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated 12 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Nativity Catholic Church, interment will follow in Sarasota National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Stowers Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital (www.stjudes.org) and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (ccfa.org).
