Connor Douglas Laskey

Connor was born on June 23, 1998, in Boston Massachusetts and later moved with his family to Tampa in 2006. He was a proud student in the Hillsborough County Exceptional Student Education Program where he attended elementary, middle, and high school. He graduated from Wharton High School in 2020.

Connor was devoted to his parents and spent time every day with his loving brother. His hobbies ranged from watching epic movies from the Lord of the Rings trilogy to Monty Python and listening to compositions ranging from chamber music to Aerosmith. He would regale family friends by reciting dialogue and lyrics at a moment’s notice.

Connor’s roots were in both New England and Louisiana. He was a unique sports fan, who could spend Sundays cheering for both the New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints with equal passion and ferocity. He was rarely caught without the jerseys of his teams and often augmented the colors of the Saints and Patriots with the insignia of the Red Sox and Bruins.

Connor was deeply loved by those who knew him. He is survived by his proud parents, Lawrence and Dana Laskey, his loving brother Ian Laskey, and hundreds of family and special friends.

A visitation for Connor will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511, followed by a funeral service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
