David Lee Farnell (Super Dave) lost his 6 ½ year battle with early onset Alzheimer’s disease on 10/30. In the face of such a devastating illness Super Dave maintained his funny, positive, happy attitude. Dave worked for the Tampa Police Department as a Finger Print examiner for almost 30 years. He loved football and was part of a Fantasy Football League that brought so much joy to his life. Dave loved to travel and he and his wife took many wonderful trips together. During Dave’s illness he had the opportunity to participate in a Clinical Trial to test an up and coming Alzheimer’s drug. He was convinced that his contribution would eventually benefit future Alzheimer’s patients. Super Dave was loved by so many people and leaves behind a wife, father, brother, sister and their respective families. He had many friendships and will be missed by everyone whose life he ever touched. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Life Path Hospice.
