He was born in San Juan, P.R., and lived in the Bronx, NY, before later living in PA, NJ, and finally Florida.
After graduating H.S. certified in the automotive trade, he spent his entire working career as an auto mechanic, and then later as a bus maintainer for the NYC Transit Authority.
He married his high school sweetheart, Violet, and they had 3 sons, which eventually produced 7 grandchildren. Known as a hard-working, fun-loving, and caring family man, throughout his life he enjoyed baseball, fishing, camping, hunting, and most things outdoors. He enjoyed various types of music, Rock and Roll being his favorite, but he loved sharing meals and time with his family and friends the most.
He was always willing to help others as best as he could, and never missed an opportunity to share a story, give some good advice, tell a joke, or try to cheer someone up.
Serving as a deacon and member of the Board of Trustees at his church, Eddie was a committed Christian and cherished member of his church family. His joy of serving others, in any way he could, was a testimony to the Lord, and such a blessing to those around him.
His legacy as a loving husband, father, abuelo, son, brother, uncle, and friend, will live on through the memories of all who knew him.
