CARLISLE, Edward Floyd, 67, lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay Area, entered into rest November 21, 2016. Edward was a longtime employee of Verizon. After his retirement he worked for the county as a school bus driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam Conflict. Edward was a member of IBEW local 824. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and spending time with his family. A loving father and hard worker he will be missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Carlisle. Survivors include his son, Christopher (Kim); daughter, Leslie; granddaughter, Kelsey; great-granddaughter, Audrey; father, Albert Floyd (Mildred); brothers, Doug, Randy (Tammy), Ken (Tammy); sister, Patricia. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, November 28, 2016 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
