Edward John Yarosis

YAROSIS, Edward John, 68, of Valrico, Fla., originally from Waterbury, Conn., entered into rest November 9, 2016. Ed was an outdoors man, he loved hunting and fishing. He loved working with his hands on cars and motorcycles, fixing tractors, yard equipment, and computers. He traveled to all 50 states. Ed loved his family; his granddaughters were the light of his life. He was a fun loving guy and will be missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his son, Shane Pinchot; parents, John and Mary Yarosis; brothers, Ricky, John, William; and sister, Janice Peacock. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Diane; sons, Edward Pinchot, Jody Yarosis, Peter Yarosis, David Yarosis; granddaughters, Destiny Yarosis, Haileigh Lamare, Kyah Yarosis; great-granddaughter, Lilliana Yarosis; sister, Anita Hajrulla; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Julie Tauvaga, Tonchy Turner.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 5049 Bell Shoals Rd, Valrico. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 W. Brandon Blvd, Brandon.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Waterbury, Conn.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Ed’s memory.
