Frederick James Trainor

Fred was born to Frederick and Anna Trainor in the Bronx on November 4, 1944. Born 3 months early, Fred started life as a miracle, and a fighter. He fought for what he believed in, for those he loved and for his country.

Fred served in the United States Airforce as Security Police. He also worked as an armed security patrol officer in New York City for several years. Fred found love and was married in 1979 to Ruth. They were married for just five short years when tragically, Ruth died in an automobile accident. Fred dedicated his life to raising his daughters, Adrienne and Michelle.

Love came again after several years when he married a wonderful woman who caught his eye at the softball fields where their daughters played for many years. Fred and Cyndy were married in 1996. At this time Fred started his job in mosquito control for Hillsborough County and worked his way to mosquito control inspector before retirement. After raising their children, Fred and Cyndy set off to see what adventures life had in store for them. And what an adventure it was. They fulfilled their dream of having an RV and traveled all over the United States. Fred loved to drive. In recent years, he logged thousands of miles driving back and forth across the country spending time with his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Sometimes in celebration, sometimes in sorrow, but Fred was always happiest when he was with his family.

Fred was predeceased by father Frederick Trainor, mother Anna Trainor, wife and mother of his two daughters, Ruth Trainor, stepdaughter Tasha Wilkins, and daughter-in-law Julie Wilkins.

Fred is survived by his wife Cyndy Trainor. He is also survived by his daughter Adrienne Ransom, her husband James and their two kids Emily and Zachary, daughter Michelle Maldonado, her husband Carlos and their two kids Tatum and Josh, stepson Sean Wilkins and his two daughters Analiese and Isabella, and grandson Joshua.
