

Went to be with his Lord and Savior January 29th after a courageous year long battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Born in Riverview, Florida, to the late General Phate and Caldonia (Donnie). Bo proudly served his Country in the US Air Force as a fighter jet mechanic. Returning home to become a well respected tug boat Captain for Local 25, Marine Division, as well as a top notch stock car driver and Tampa auto dealer. Bo always remained heavily involved in the local car racing with his son, Wayne and now the race team they shared of Kyle Bronson 40B. Bo mentored and taught many of the best race drivers from the Tampa area and will be missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents, Brother, Ray, Sisters, Dorothy, Mary Frances, Juanita, Eloise, and Sandra. Bo is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 34 years Theresa Baggett Hammond, Son Domenick, Grandchildren, Alex and Heather, Great-Grandchildren Kai (Peewee), Victoria. Sons, Wayne (Shirlene), Frankie, Marty. Daughters, Cheryl (Don), Cindy (Peewee), Vickie, Mickie (Eric). Sister, Janice (Larry) McCartney and many dearly loved nieces and nephews, grandchildren and extended family. Bo also leaves behind some of the most wonderful, treasured and loved friends, any man could ever ask for. He put on his wings to fly with Jesus, his much loved friends and family who left this earth before him. The family would like to extend our most sincere Thanks for the angels who cared for Bo in his last week at the Tampa VA Hospice center, we love and appreciate you. Services: Visitation, Sunday February 4th, 9:00-11:00 a.m. Service 11:00 a.m. and burial to follow at Hillsboro Memorial located at 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon FL. Flowers welcome.
