EVANS, Gerald Ralph, died on September 4, 2016 at his residence in Brandon, FL. Born on October 17, 1949; he graduated from Linden High School in Linden, MI in 1967. After serving in the Army and learning to jump out of airplanes, he worked in Evans Foods in Linden, MI and General Motors in Flint, MI. Gerry spent the second half of his life in the Sarasota, Bradenton and Tampa, FL area, where he worked as a Supervisor for landscaping and maintenance in apartment complexes until forced to retire for health reasons. Gerry was preceded in death by his father Ralph Evans and mother Phyllis (Evans) Gillihan. Surviving are his wife Victoria Evans, his grandchildren that he raised from a young age; Stacey (Dana) Harmon and Mathew (Chelsie) Baker, sister Janet (Brad) Endres, sister-in-law Caroline (Stanley) Butler, 2 great grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.
