Glenn loved his country, God and family. He served honorably in the US Army for over 21 years. Beginning as a Chaplin assistant and retiring as a Chief Warrant 0fficer 2. Glenn was a highly decorated officer with the highest award being the “Defense Meritorious Service Medal”. He continued his service to defend our country as a DOD employee which eventually brought him to work and retire at MacDill AFB. He and his family resided in Valrico, FL.
He leaves behind his wife Denise Stearns. His children Sean, Erika, Kevin, Stephanie, and Julia. His grandchildren Kyle, Jenny, Deedrick, Malachi, Aniyah, Conner. His mother Betsy. His brother Robbie and sisters Becky and Peggy. Several nieces and nephews and other family members. Many friends that were like family to him as well. Everyone in his life touched his heart in so many ways as he did theirs.
Arrangements will be made by Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. Glenn will be honored with a Military service at Florida National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest amongst his brothers and sisters of the US Armed Forces. Service will take place November 19 at 2:30pm.
