BYRD, Howard K., 75, entered into rest June 7, 2013. Howard was born in Kingsport, Tenn. and resided most of his life in the Tampa Bay Area. He was a member of New Day Ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Katherine Byrd; brothers, James and Buford. Survivors include his two sons, Timothy Byrd, Michael Byrd and wife, Luan; daughter, Teresa Templeton; three grandchildren, Joshua, Zachery, Brittany; sister, Shirley Waters; and several nieces and nephews that he loved deeply. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 2 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
