Irma Eden

Irma Eden, 94, passed away May 14, 2012. Irma and her husband Edward relocated from Fairborn, Ohio, where they raised their family to Valrico in 1970. They worked together in real estate starting Valrico Realty, later known as Eden Realty. A loving friend to all her neighbors, Irma was very involved with volunteer work in the community and was known as the “Angel of Valrico”. She taught youth Sunday school at Limona Village Chapel, and was an accomplished artist in oils. Irma was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 49 years, Edward C. Eden; and grandson, Ronnie Eden. She is survived by her children, Richard Eden and wife Nancy of Chatanooga, Tenn., Judy Arnold and husband Richard of Brandon, Fla., and Ronald Eden and wife Gina of Homosassa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 12-2 p.m., with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Stowers Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
