James Curtis Burkett "Papa", age 77, of Townsend, Tennessee, passed away, surrounded by his family. on June 14, 2024, at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital. James Curtis Burkett was a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.
James Curtis Burkett was preceded in death by his mother, father, and siblings.
James Curtis Burkett is survived by the love of his life, Sally Burkett; two daughters, Holly, Catherine (son-in-law Alejandro); grandchildren, Madison, Alex, Max; and great-granddaughter, Scarlett; siblings Elisa, Dean, Gail and Mike.
James Curtis Burkett will be interred in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida, with military honors.
