James “Buddy” Chapman III, 69, of Valrico, Florida, left for Heaven on December 4, 2020. Buddy worked in the automotive industry as an auto painter. After his retirement in February 2016, he enjoyed his time golfing, building his 1957 Ford Custom 300, and spending time with his family.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Karen, his three children: Adam Chapman, Perry Chapman (Taylor), and Megan Chapman, and one grandchild, Adalynn. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Morgan (Curt), Jo Marie Fullerton-New (Bill), and Diane Huson, and numerous and very loved nieces and nephews.
All who knew Buddy will remember him as a devoted and loving husband, dad, and Papa. Buddy will be remembered as a man with an intense love and steadfast commitment to his family and friends (especially his best friend and work partner, Mike), an interminable work ethic, and his down-to-earth attitude.
A celebration of Buddy’s life will be held at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon on December 16th from 5:00- 7:00 PM. His ashes will be interred at Hopewell Memorial Gardens in Plant City at a later date.
