James Jacob Thomas

James Jacob Thomas, age 11, passed away on February 14, 2025, in Tampa, FL. He was a bright, loving, and adventurous child who brought joy to everyone who knew him. His smile could light up a room, and his kind heart touched so many lives.

James had a deep love for art, science, and animals. He was endlessly curious, always eager to learn something new and explore the world around him. His compassion knew no bounds, and he had a way of making everyone feel special. James also had a wonderful sense of humor—he was quick to make a joke and bring laughter to those around him.

James is survived by his loving parents, Melissa and Michael Thomas, and his two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joyce Till; grandfather, Eugene Thomas; and his uncle, Robert Valentine, who are now with him and caring for him.

Funeral services will be held at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, FL, at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025. The family welcomes all who knew and loved James to come and celebrate his life.
