Janice Bolling Fender

A lifelong resident of the area, Janice was born in Tampa, Florida on August 30, 1937. After graduating from Hillsborough High School, she met and married Bobby Bolling. They moved to Brandon in 1963 to raise their family. Unfortunately, Bobby passed away in 1978. Several years later Janice married Floyd Fender.

She worked for over 20 years for Hillsborough County Schools as a Head Start Teacher. Retiring in 1998, Janice enjoyed spending time at her home in the North Carolina Mountains, crafting, and spending time with her family.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon for over 50 years.

Janice was predeceased by her parents Hansford and Mary Nell Evans, her first husband Bobby James Bolling, second husband Floyd Fender and her brother Hansford Clinton Evans. She is survived by her sister Joyce Tharp, daughters Lori Anderson (Rick Anderson), Kristi Maye (Shawn Maye) and sons Mark Bolling (Carla Bolling), and Brent Bolling (Marilee Bolling). Also, her pride and joy were her 12 grandchildren – 8 grandsons and 4 granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren on the way.

A visitation for Janice will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A funeral service will occur Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. A graveside service will occur Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, 2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511.
