Bearry, Juanita George left this world on Saturday, April 15th, 2017 and took her rightful place among Jesus, the Father, and his angels. One of nine siblings, she was born to William and Margie Busbee George on June 10th, 1921. At age five, she fell in love with Christ and from then on would neither waver, nor falter. A child of the Great Depression, she knew tremendous hardships, but endured every trial and tribulation as a child of God; her resolve, undeniable, and her faith, unshakeable. Married on June 10th, 1949, her twenty-eighth birthday, to Reverend N. J. Bearry, she devoted her life to her family and her church, and never let anyone forget her love either. For loved ones and strangers, she so often embedded her warmth in quilts, and her sweetness in foods like her famous corn bread and pecan pie. Mama Bear’ is survived by her brother Aldon, five loving sons Marty (Nita), Marlon (Corinne), John Mickey’ (Deb), Michael (Jana), and Morris, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Her spirit and memory are best described by Proverbs 31. A visitation for Juanita Bearry will be held on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 from 6-8pm at Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon followed by a funeral service Friday, April 21st, 2017 at 11am at Dover Pentecostal Holiness Church, 14150 Holiness Church Rd, Dover, FL 33527.
