Krista Andrea Roberts

ROBERTS, Krista Andrea Purvis, 57, a native of Tampa, passed away after a lengthy illness on April 25, 2017. She attended Hillsborough High School and graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Krista briefly taught elementary school in Georgia. Upon her return to Florida she began working in the banking industry and worked for a number of banks, most notably she worked for Bank of America for almost twenty years. Krista is loved and survived by her sister, Cheryl (Tom) Ferguson; nephews, Jeremy (Megan) Brown, Steve Brown and their father Tom Brown; grandniece, Lydia; grandnephews, Mitchell and Callum; many cousins, and two very special friends, Chris Rakauskas and Ross Puleo, Jr. In lieu of flowers, contributions made to Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) would be greatly appreciated. A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511. A private burial will take place at a later time.
