

HARDING, Lois V., 77, entered into rest Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Before moving to Valrico, FL in 2011, Lois lived nearly 40 years in Gambrills, Md. After many years of dedicated service as a registered nurse, she retired from Baltimore Washington Medical Center, formerly North Arundel Hospital, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Lois was a member of the Main Post Chapel, Fort Meade, Md. and Rivers of Life Church Ministries, Brandon, Fl. After marrying her late husband, James Earl “Bill” Harding, she traveled extensively as a military wife and then for pleasure. She also loved shopping and especially cruises. Lois was a member of the Retired Enlisted Association with her husband. Lois is also preceded in death by her parents, Lehman and Veranda Hicks; and brother, Lehman Hicks, Jr. Survivors include her daughters; Lisa Antoinette Mack (Garland) and Pamela Marie Watkins (Rodney); brother, Donald Hicks; sister, Verna Mae Holley (Donald); and grandchildren, Adonte Mack, Erika Watkins, Joel Mack, Joshua Watkins and Andre Mack, and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 12-1 pm Monday, December 2 with funeral service to follow immediately at 1 pm. All services will be held at Rivers of Life Church Ministries, Brandon. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, LifePath Hospice or Florida Diabetes Camp. Lois will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but will live on in their hearts and memories.
