Louis Edward Holloway

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Louis Edward Holloway Sr, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, who entered eternal rest on September 27, 2025 at the age of 74.

Born to Rufus & Catherine Holloway on March 4 1951 in Carson City, Mississippi. Louis lived a life rooted in faith, family, and service. He dedicated his years to protecting his country with honor as a member of the Airforce, and carried that same strength and discipline into his role as a husband, father, and grandfather.

For 56 years, he was the loving and devoted husband of Patricia Holloway. Together they built a home filled with love, raising Louis Holloway Jr, Eric Holloway and Patrick Holloway and delighting in the blessing of 11 grandchildren. He was a man of integrity, a strong provider, and a constant source of wisdom, guidance and unconditional love.

Louis will always be remembered for his warm smile, selflessness and sense of humor. His life’s legacy is not only found in his service to his country, but in the way he loved his family and God.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Patricia Holloway, his children, Louis Holloway Jr fiancé (Denise Ray), Eric Holloway wife (Thametria Holloway), Patrick Holloway wife (Danielle Holloway) grandchildren,Tony Holloway, Marcus Holloway, Dejuan Holloway, Savanna Holloway, Erin Holloway, Eric Holloway Jr., Jaylin Holloway, Elijah Holloway, Cameron Holloway, Cori Holloway and Cairo Holloway also wonderful in laws and a host of nieces and nephews, James Lang, Earl Johnson, and James Lang Jr. who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice knowing he has been welcomed into the arms of his Savior and is now at peace.
