Luna Kimberly Carter

CARTER, Luna Kimberly, age 85, of Brandon, FL went to be with her Heavenly Father and Savior on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her granddaughter, Cassandra "Cassi" Carter; her brothers, Joe and Irwin Kimberly; and one sister, Eunice Perry .

She is survived by her loving children, Billy and Tommy Carter of Baxley, GA; Ted Carter and Teresa Williams, of Brandon, FL, Charles Steven Carter of Gibsonton, FL, and Miriam Mickler of Brandon, FL; five grandchildren, Melissa, Jesika, Justin, Monica and William; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Heath of Baxley, GA and Vera Drury of Jacksonville, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

Luna was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon for over 50 years, where she was blessed to have many close and loving friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017, 3:30pm at First Baptist Church Brandon. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service.

She will then be taken back to her home town of Baxley, GA where a Celebration will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, 11am at Red Oak Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 10am and interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements in Georgia will be handled by Nobles Funeral Home.
