ARROYO, Luz, 94, of Tampa entered into rest January 26, 2016. Born in San Sabastian, P.R. Luz moved to Tampa around 1951. She had worked in Tampa's cigar industry, and was an avid church goer. Luz loved holidays and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armando; brother, Gennaro Ramos. Survivors include her sons, Mariano Arroyo (Shirley), Armando Arroyo Jr (Elaine), daughter, Rose Sheets (Ray); six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. A funeral Service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
