Maurine Lancaster

Maurine was predeceased by parents Alfred & Olita McNab, Son-in-Law Fred Young, Grandson Josh Lancaster. She is survived by husband of 63 years, Joseph Lancaster, children Jeannie Young, Michael Lancaster (Angela), Mark Lancaster (Rachel) and Steven Lancaster (Teri), Grandchildren Nathan Young (Alisha), Shawna Thadathil (Siby), Stephanie Thacker (Joey), Jonathan Young, Aaron Chewning, Joseph Lancaster (Ashley), Megan Boys (Josh), Bethany Caldwell (Eli), Jacob Lancaster (Beth), Ozzy Lancaster and 11 Great-Grandchildren, as well as her brother, Al McNab (Judy), her in-laws and many extended family members and friends that she loved and adored as her own.

Maurine was born on September 16, 1941, to Alfred & Olita McNab in French Harbour, Roatan, Honduras. She graduated from Hillsborough High School, in Tampa FL, 1959.

In 1957, she met the love of her life, Joe and they wed in 1960, and were blessed to have 4 children. Maurine attended Fowler Avenue Baptist Church where she worshipped her Lord & Savior and served on the Hostess Committee, was a choir member and taught Sunday school.

After retiring in 1996 from the family business, Maurine spent her time enjoying her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, Christmas cookie baking, shopping, and spending time with friends. She greatly loved traveling, especially cruising and fine dining wherever she went.

Maurine radiated the Love of God thru her servant and caring spirit. Cooking was her passion and love was always the secret ingredient. She was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
