Melvin McLellan, 68, of Plant City went home to be with his Lord Jesus December 16, 2013. He was a retired millwright and attended Plant City Church of God. Melvin was an avid outdoorsman who loved life and his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Barbara; son, Tracy McLellan (Lyndel); daughter, Shannon Mayo (Chad); granddaughters, Shelby, Ashton; brother, Mitchel McLellan (Tomie). A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Stowers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
