After knowing Sue for several years online I was blessed with the opportunity of meeting her in person this last October in Las Vegas.  I am so thankful she was able to make the trip even though her health was not the best.  She will be missed by all her Kanasta Friends and we will think of her often as we play the variation games she created.  Rest in peace my friend.

I don't recall ever seeing Sue when she wasn't smiling...

I just learned of Sue's passing.  I remember her well from our Hillsborough County schools days.  She was funny and also patient with folks like me.  Gone too soon. May she rest in peace.

Sue was a very wise,loyal and down to earth person. Sue's compassion, and great sense of humor endeared her to all of her family in the Social Work Department. Sue has touched so many lives, including mine, and I will always be thankful for her frienship.

Sue was an amazing person to work with. She was one of the most helpful people I will ever meet.  Her intelligence and quick wit made her "one of a kind."  I will miss her greatly now that she has permanently "Gone Fishin'."  Blessings and Sincere Sympathies to all her family.

Sue was a wonderful person. I enjoyed working with her and will miss her.

In my brief encounters with Sue I found her to be extremely friendly and very graceful.  She was a pure joy to be around.  I mourn with those who mourn.

  Sue will be missed by her card playing friends online.. I have known her for many years, Never actually had the chance to meet her in person, she will surely be  missed.. Keeping her family and her dog in my prayers.

First and foremost Sue was a God-centered woman. Gatherings of Hillsborough District school social workers were often enhanced by her presence. She reflected and radiated an all encompassing love and appreciation of the services we offer those entrusted to our care. Sue was always approachable and supportive from the oldest to the newest social worker. She remained closly associated with the department after her retirement and she will be missed.  Elena Garcia

Sue was a loyal and dedicated member of the Department of Student Services for many years.  You could always depend on her to get the job done and to come up with unique solutions to problems.  She was never afraid to speak up and call a situation as she saw it.  Sue will be most remembered for her sense of humor and her love life. Sue will be truly missed.  Mary Ellen Gillette

Sue was a real treasure for all of us. She was very bright and intelligent and also with such good common sense and true compassion. She embraced new ideas and welcomed challenges. She was her own person with deep convictons and commitments and unwavering loyalities.  She was a faithful ambassador for School Social Work and always championed the values and goals of the entire Department of Student Services and Hillsborough Public Schools. Her pride at being a member of the Department and her support for all of us many times helped us to "hang-in-there" and weather the storms whenever the going was tough.   Her positive attitude and cheeful, up-beat personality will be very difficult to replace. We will miss you, Sue.
