Rachel Helen Hebert

HEBERT, Rachel Helen (nee Gheen), 74, of Thonotosassa, entered into rest November 18, 2014. An avid gardener Rachel also enjoyed sewing, cooking and going to garage sales. She was a member of the Tampa Orchid Society, and past member of the Tampa Rose Society of which she was an accredited judge and consulting rosarian. She was preceded in death by her father, William Gheen. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, William "Bill" Hebert; son, Michael Hebert (Katie); daughters, Gwen Patterson (Scott), Cindy Hackstaff (Gordon), Denise Wederbrand, Miriam Hebert; grandchildren, Christina, Mikey, Zackery, William, Amy, Addison, Joshua, Rachel; great-granddaughter, Gabriella; her 100 year old mother, Theresa Gheen; brother, William Gheen (Ingrid); sister, Theresa Ritcherson. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Stowers Funeral Home, with a wake service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Francis Building Fund, P.O. Box 1218 Seffner, FL 33583 in Rachel's memory.
