CARAPELLA, Raymond “Kelly” James, 53, of Valrico, FL, answered Gods call to play in the Major Leagues on December 30, 2015. It’s a loss heard around the world as Kelly was always giving back to his community in more ways than one. He was an avid baseball fan (New York Mets) and will be remembered for his unparalleled sense of humor and ability to light up the room with his bright personality. He influenced a countless number of lives in a positive way and established a legacy that will leave an impact for years to come. He is survived by his wife Vickie of 29 years, sons Jason (Kara), Dominic, Ray, daughter Gabriella, granddaughter Campbell, grandson Kason, brothers George (Lee), Albert (Dawn) and sister Margo (Paul). Visitation will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2-4:pm and 6-8:pm and Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 12-2:pm, with funeral service to follow at 2:pm, each at Stower’s Funeral Home, 401 W. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL . Burial will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens.
