Richard Lee Hamilton

Richard was a graduate of Brandon High School. He was a ramblin man. seldom settling down. His passion was traveling. So he made his lifelong career as a truck driver. Once retired his hobbies were going to the races with his grandkids. He loved defeating others in a game of rummy while sipping on his favorite drink gin and juice, as well as shooting a mean game of pool. His hobbies also included baking. He could bake one hell of an apple pie. He also had a passion for football and baseball. His favorite teams were the Cubs and the Bears.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lucille (Goff) Hamilton; father, James Ellis Hamilton; brother, James Eugene Hamilton; sisters, Eva (Hamilton) Lawson, Janet (Hamilton) Guice. He is survived by his son, Richard Jason Hamilton Angela (Hamilton) Register; grandchildren, Crystal Register, Destiny (Register) Chandley & Drew Chandley, Caleb Jansen, Jeremy Hamilton, Corey Hamilton; daughter, Leighann (Hamilton) Rogers and Charlie Rogers, Danielle McKee & Jerry Mckenrick, Jenna McKee & Matt Weston, James McKee; great-grandchildren, Elsie Hamilton, Avery Hamilton, Thea Chandley, Olivia Chandley, Randall Gill, Bentley Gill, Ivar Weston.
