Roger Dale Brandstetter

He was born on October 5, 1947, to Philip and Covey Brandstetter in Sullivan, West Virginia. Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He lived in South Florida for many years, working as a golf course superintendent, and then as a maintenance director at the former Calder Race Course, where he met his wife of 40 years, Linda. he retired and they moved to Riverview, Florida to be closer to their family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers and sisters; daughter, Jenny. Survivors include his wife, Linda; daughters, Tina, Stephanie (Justin), Tammy (Ricky), Julie (Ed), Katie (Colby); sister, Joyce; brother, Chuck; many grandchildren, nephews, and favorite nieces.

A memorial service for Roger will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Stowers Funeral Home, 401 West Brandon Boulevard, Brandon, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

There will be a celebration of life following the service at Roger's home. In lieu of flowers bring your favorite drink to the celebration of life.
