Rose "Mami Rose" Marie Trujillo Otero

OTERO, Rose Marie, long time resident of the Brandon/Apollo Beach area, died March 23, 2018. Born in 1931 in Quito, Ecuador she was one of seven siblings. She loved cooking, crocheting and serving her friends and family. Her smile would light up a room. Preceded in death by her beloved son, Christopher. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Cristobal; children, Betty & Héctor Roman, Bernice & Justino Colon, and Daniel Otero with life partner Valerie Heatherly. The joys of her life were her grandchildren, Hector Jr. & wife Michelle, Christopher, Elysa, Rosa, and Miriam. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday March 28, 2018 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
