WOODALL Sr., Russell L., 88, a longtime resident of the Tampa Bay Area entered into rest July 7, 2016. Russell was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard service from 1946-1949. After his time in the Coast Guard he became a heavy diesel mechanic until his retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover and the American Legion. Russell enjoyed woodworking and metal fabricating. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances L. Woodall; second wife, Lois Woodall. Survivors include his sons, Russell L. Woodall (Linda), Mark Woodall (Tammy); step-son, John Martin (Sue); step-daughters, Marsha Martz (Glen), Cindy Martin; brother, James Mason Woodall (Kathy); sister, Frances White (Ray); four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service at the funeral home.
