Syble was born on February 22,1932 to Dencil and Sylbia Knight in Weston, WV. She graduated from Weston High School in 1950.
She met and married John D. Genevie on November 4, 1949. Going on to have five children, Don, Debbie, Janet, Cathy and Ann Marie.
Later in life she and John bought and managed the J & S Mobile Home Park in Valrico. It was there that she learned the skills to allow her to get the job that gave her the most satisfaction as a park ranger at Lithia Springs.
After retiring in 1997 she spent her time with friends and traveling. She began taking up painting and became quite accomplished, with many pieces cherished by her children.
Syble was predeceased by her parents Dencil and Syblia Knight, husband John, daughters Debbie Parsons (Robert) and Ann Marie Genevie, and her sister Verba (Robert Adams). She is survived by her children Don Genevie (Trudi Genevie), Janet Genevie (Poncet Bills), Cathy Genevie (Bill Chase) and her brother Carliss Knight.
