Born on July 7, 1959, in Ada, Idaho, Tammie was raised by her loving family and graduated from Union High School in 1977. She went on to study at the University of South Carolina before settling in Tampa, Florida. Tammie began her career in the hospitality industry but found her true joy as a homemaker, dedicating her life to raising her children. Her children will always remember her as a kind, nurturing mother who encouraged them to follow their dreams and remain true to themselves.
Tammie had a gift for making things grow and took pride in her thriving gardens. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time at the beach, shopping at Bealls Outlet, and most of all, creating memories with her grandchildren. A woman of faith, she was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon, where she found strength, comfort, and community.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens (2323 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Tammie are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tammie’s honor to the American Cancer Society.
Tammie will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion to her family, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
