Teresa McMahon

McMAHON, Terry, 77, resident of Valrico, FL passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012. She was surrounded by her family as she lost a long battle with her health. Teresa was born in New York City and raised by mother Amelia Delgado. She is survived by four siblings. She was married to Thomas Joseph McMahon on February 9, 1954, her one time love of 58 years. Together they had five children, Elizabeth, Ruth, Marie, Thomas and Teresa, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Teresa enjoyed traveling and was an accomplished painter. While she was not a religious woman she carried God in her heart. She found solace in her children and recognized each of them as individuals. Her greatest joy came from their successes. A private family gathering will be held at Stowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Teresa will be buried at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Mama, know that you are etched in our minds, in our daily lives, and that you are never alone. We remain with you always and will miss you more than words could ever say.
