Vicente De La Cruz

DE LA CRUZ, Vicente, 93, entered into rest October 24, 2011. He had been a resident of the United States for the past 35 years. In Kiamba, Philippines, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a very loving father to all his children and a beloved husband to his wife. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Milagros De La Cruz. He is survived by sons, Antonio, Ramon, Vicente, Arturo, Renato, Tomas and Eugene De La Cruz; daughter, Carmencita Ward; daughters-in-law; son-in-law; 22 grand-children; five great-grandchildren; an extended loving family and friends. Vicente was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A special “Thank You” to the staff: Thelma, Bing, and Mona, of Good Shepherd ALF, Brandon. Visitation will take place 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home, Brandon. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 26, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1711 E. 11th Avenue, Tampa.
