William L. Prosser

William Lawrence Prosser, 62, of Valrico FL; went to the arms of the Lord after a brief illness. He was born October 31, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio to Raymond and Marie Prosser. He is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years Virginia Prosser; Son Eric (Jenna) Prosser of Lakeland, FL; Daughter Heather Crumley of Louisville, KY; Step Son Mark (Carol) Wallace of Plant City, FL; Step Daughter Cynthia (Bill) Morris of Thonotosassa, FL; Sisters, Katherine Matthiessen of Bonita Springs, FL; Eleanor Burgett of Fredericktown, OH; Ruthie (Bill) Griffin, Land O’ Lakes, FL; and Anna Marie (Chuck) Holmes of Lady Lake, FL; 6 Grandsons; 5 Granddaughters; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews; and Many Friends.

Bill served in the U.S. Army and Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Earl, Harry, Donnie and Sister Dorothy Prosser.

Bill enjoyed Nascar, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.

We will cherish the special place in our hearts that will always be reserved for him.

Memorial Services:

The family will receive friends and family Friday April 23, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m., at Stowers Funeral Home in Brandon, FL with Reverend Charles Holmes officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice or the VA Hospital.

Burial will be announced at a later date.
