Peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, on February 2, 2014. Loving husband of Ellen. Beloved father of Norman (Kelly), Joseph (Kim), Neil, Heather and Graham. Survived by his mother Muriel (the late Norman) Macdonald and siblings Laura (Gerry) Kupferschmidt, Cassie Kraemer, Margaret (George) Macdonald-Hall, Reta (John) Flanagan, Paul (Kathy), Carl, Janet (John) Magdanz, Theresa (Brian) Buitenhuis, Kathryn and Iain Scott. Archie’s’ happiest times were sharing his love of lacrosse with his kids, coaching, refereeing and spending time at the rink. The family will receive friends at the "THORPE BROTHERS' FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL", 96 West St., on Wednesday, February 5th from 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 133Murray St, on Thursday, February 6th at 11am. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the Brant Community Foundation – Arnold Anderson Fund would be appreciated by the family.
