Hey sis it's me the crazy one. I just want to tell you how much i miss you. There has not been a day that goes by that i don't think of you, i still can't believe that your gone. Everytime i go shopping i miss you like crazy. I keep thinking of the fun we use to have and when there is a really good deal i always say Brenda would buy lots. My god how i wish you were still hear i miss talking to you so much and seeing your beautiful smile and i miss hearing you say to me ( i am so glad your my sister). Cindy, Tammy and i were the one's that was so lucky to have you as a big sis. You taught us so much. The love we all have for you will never fade. I just love and miss you so very much BG. I too was a new Knot A Breast teammate of Brenda's. We chatted at length in the pool (to the degree we were scolded like 6 year olds for not listening to the coach!). We exchanged diagnoses, surgeries, recoveries, our families, and our hopes for the future. I am honoured to have met Brenda, and greatly saddened that we will never paddle together. Her spirit will be with us all though. My deepest condolences to the family she so cherished.

every time i paddled with Brenda at the pool, I told her that once we were out on the Bay, with the wind , the rain or the sun, she would light up.Now she is lifting us  up.Margaretanne from Knot A Breast

Brenda was like Haleys comet.  She hurtled through life no matter what stood in her way and she left a trail of light everywhere she went.  She touched so many lives in ways that she could never know.  Brenda touched mine very deeply and I am all the better for having known her. She was a great testament to a life well lived. Brenda had only been with Knot A Breast for a short while but her spunk and the spark that she had were evident from the first moment that I spoke to her. I was so saddened to read of Brenda's passing. I first met Brenda at Precious Jewels Daycare. I worked there and she brought the twins. I ran into Brenda many times over the years and we always stopped and had a chat. She was so friendly, funny, bubbly and warm. A true free spirit. So genuine and loving.  Beautiful inside and out. It was always great to see her and catch up on our lives and enjoy some good laughs. Each of us had three sisters and both of us had been asked if we were sisters so we'd address each other as,"My fourth sister" I got to see Brenda many times with her kids and I know how much she loved her family.  What a loss. I will miss your smiley face and happy heart Brenda. My deepest condolences to your family.
