MEYER, Catharina - After a courageous battle with Alzheimer disease. Peacefully, at Hardy Terrace, on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her husband Frank Meyer; and her first husband Frank Trapp. Loving mother of Hertha Skalin and dear grandmother of Shawn Robert (Dawn) Skalin. Predeceased by all of her brothers. Dear aunt of Peter (Donna) Breck and their children Greg, Lisa, Cindy and their families, Lisa (Horzt) Tiezte and their sons, also numerous other nieces and nephews. The family will receive their friends at the “THORPE BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL“ on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 11:00 am, followed by a reception in the Carriage House. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
