We had many wonderful years as neighbours and friends and we were very disappointed that the weather prevented us from attending the celebration of her life this afternoon.

I only have good memories of Aunt Linda.  I can honestly say I have only ever seen her with a smile on her face.  She was always so kind and generous.  Growing up, the Gareau families spent so much time together--so many wonderful memories of all the fun we had.  I am so blessed to have spent so many wonderful times visiting Aunt Linda growing up.  I am going to miss her so much.  I am grateful to have such a wonderful Aunt in my life.  I am so sorry for your loss Teddy, Diana, Frank and Cathy and families.  I hope the wonderful memories that all of us have help to comfort you.  She is now up in Heaven smiling down on us.  

Aunt Linda was such a beautiful, loving and welcoming person.   One of the amazing Gareau sisters who showed so much love to all their extended family.  I will always remember her sending over cabbage rolls for my dad.  We were so fortunate to be a part of the Gareau clan.   Love you Aunt Linda

I would like to offer my most sincere condolences to the (extended) Mroz family. It’s difficult to imagine the loss of such a beautiful person. I met Mrs. Mroz several times while attending family events at the farm, and at each subsequent meeting, she would always remember my name, and ask how I was doing. She was a caring and very genuine person. I remember feeling a little smile break out on my face after talking with her - always happened. Mrs. Mroz had that magical ability to make you feel loved.
I consider myself privileged to have had the opportunity to meet her.

I met Linda about 30 years ago and the first thing that struck me (along with her height) was the joy that emanated from her.  She was warm, welcoming and full to the brim with love.
I usually saw Linda up at Frank and Symphony’s (Cynthia’s) farm where she would be busying herself cooking and helping with pottery shows or sitting and playing with the Ella and Clare.
Linda was easy to be with, interesting and interested and always ready to laugh.  The sparkle in her eye that we are all so familiar with came from her centre which was pure love and joy.  

As I said to Frank, Linda is one of the few people who, when I think of them, cannot help but instantly smile.  Thoughts of her make you glow. I will continue to think, smile, glow and hold Linda close to my heart.

Through my friendship with Cathy, I met Linda many years ago. Always caring and kind with a twinkle in her eyes. Shortly after Linda left her family home and moved into Tranquility Place, my mother - Grace Rannie, made the same move. They had met briefly over the years, but were now together daily, living in the same floor.  A loving friendship quickly happened. . I will be forever grateful for the this friendship they had . Linda made such a great impact on my Mom in such a short time . We will miss her .  Love from the White and Rannie Family

We had the great privilege of growing up across the street from Mrs. Mroz and then appreciating the friendship she had with our mom and dad for decades after we left home. I remember her being so lovely, warm, and kind - she brought light and grace to Grace Avenue.

Went I first met Mrs Mroz - I would not have been presumptuous and used her first name. She was to me of that generation and dignity. I remember the first time I met Mrs Mroz at Franks for dinner. I was surprised at how much fun she was, with such warmth and goodwill. It was an impression that lasted. The next time we got to really talk was at her birthday party - this time at Franks current home. We spoke about her future plans.  I was struck at how well loved she was - by everyone. There is a tribe in South America that believes each person makes a 400 day journey to  other shore after they pass away.  And that they cannot get there on their own - they have no paddle. It is the grief and praise of those that love them that propel them to the other shore. With the love of her family and those close to her, Mrs Mroz has all the momentum she will need.

Such an honour to have been included in your family circle so many years!!  Always a pleasure to have shared, talked and laughed with you and your beautiful family and I thank my long time Bff Diana introducing me to my sweet “Isabelle” ......I will miss your presence and the opportunity to see you but I know you are happy and connected with your loved ones in heaven❤️ Love you.... She called me boom boom...always had a smile and a twinkle in her eye I will never forget the way she would laugh after telling me something, she was always caring,loving,and inquisitive wanting to know what I was up to or where I had been, later always asking about my family and how the kids were.
As a kid I loved going to visit at her house she always had good treats and a pool table in the basement to play on,..she was so fun to be around, 
A loving person is what I remember,truly beautiful....

My deepest condolences to Frank and family on the passing of one of humanity's most amazing mothers. Linda was a beautiful, warm and caring soul, instantly likeable and eminently adorable, and always with that lovely, welcoming smile ... a smile for the ages. Thank you, Linda.

Aunt Linda was one of 7 sisters my father was lucky enough to have!            All spoiled him rotten! I was able to see first hand the love for family that the Gareau sisters provided me and forever greatful for that! Aunt Linda will live on forever in her children, her grandchildren and all her nieces and nephews. I think there's a little Aunt Linda in all us! Love Jeffrey, Nancy, Joshua and Jacob Gareau 😟😘

Aunt Linda was such a bright light in my mothers life.  She called and checked in on her and came over to play cards as often as she could which brought such joy to both of them   Living away I was not able to see much of her but when I was home she always always made sure that she saw me and caught up with news of my family.  She was caring and compassionate and genuine.    I remember her French Poodle giving Birth and she was generous in letting our family choose 2 puppies, Pierre and Garçon.  We children were soooo happy and for me it meant a double bond to our families.  Not only were we related but so was our dogs :).    Mom and Aunt Linda showed me the loving  bond sisters have.  

Such a sweet, lovely, classy lady, so warm and friendly.   I will always remember the fun day we had with her, Diana and I; helping me pick out a dress for my son's wedding, she sat patiently with a smile and words of encouragement while I tried on many dresses.  Rest in peace sweet Linda.

My childhood memories of Aunt Linda are good times. She was always loving and caring in the company of our family. She had a gift of making you feel welcome and at ease. Always enjoyed our visits to Brantford. May our Lord bless and comfort the Gareau,  Mroz, Rive, and Zamboni familys. Please accept our sincere condolences. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
